It was with great anticipation that I received this latest CD by young Scottish ace accordion player Brandon McPhee. This new recording from the immensely talented Brandon features a fantastic selection of Irish tunes that are superbly arranged and played at a lovely tempo reminiscent of the “Gallowglass Ceili Band”

This new CD features reels, jigs, hornpipes, polkas and waltzes including well known tunes like “Jackie Coleman’s Reel”, “The Kesh Jig”, “Boys of Bluehill “and a beautiful rendition of “Danny Boy”.

I highly recommend this new recording of Brandons and I think it is a must have addition to any CD collection.

I wish this extremely talented young musician every success with this CD.
